Yesterday we held our first SmartCamp Kickstart in Europe – specifically in Copenhagen Denmark. The judges picked CanvasDropr as the winner. CanvasDropr is powerful visual collaboration taken to the cloud. A visual Dropbox meets GoogleDocs for rich media.
Imagine how many people use text based collaboration tools such as GoogleDocs every single day. Then think about how many people and companies work not only with text but also with images, videos and other visual content. CanvasDropr works as an unlimited canvas, a virtual blank sheet that can be shared by an unlimited amount of users. Everyone can upload 20 different file types and annotate, comment and view together. Everything is visualized instantly in the canvas and all users connected can see all changes happening real-time on their own screens. It’s very cool – check it out.

CONNECT Denmark has had the pleasure of following CanvasDropr’s development since about five minute’s after they were founded. The product is terrific and was – and continues to be – developed in very close collaboration with their users. We’ve sparred with them at our Springboards and had them on our Springboard panels. It’s been great and we look forward to seeing them in Berlin for the European semi-finals.
