Small but Mighty: How Small Business Innovation is Changing the World

In this new Infomentary, Ed Abrams, IBM VP of Midmarket Business, says that small businesses are some of the most innovative in the world, because they can be nimble, quick, and can adapt to change in the marketplace. Abrams gives the example of Cherry Central, a small business which helped create major changes in food safety, and the Cory L Institute, which offers innovative personalized medicine solutions.

“When we think about small businesses,” Abrams says, “don’t think about the mom and pop shop around the corner, think about the companies that are really changing the world, because that’s where the innovation’s coming from.”
